How I work
Your Website tells who you are and your business. It is your online home. I like that people and companies can have modern and efficient work tools and that they are autonomous in their use.
I don’t like it when I hear a person who is forced to contact the Web Agency 100 times just to modify a text on their website.
Your website must be entirely YOURS, and you can get to know how to manage it independently, supported by someone who guides you in the choices you make and explains why to make them.

WordPress is the ideal tool. I have been relying on WordPress for a long time to create websites, to make people, professionals, small businesses autonomous in managing their own site.
This does not mean that I build your site and abandon you, but I support you. I have affordable site maintenance plans and we can choose how much autonomy you will have once the site is live.

What are the costs of a website
We were saying that the costs related to a website are essentially two (excluding any advertising campaigns or search engine positioning campaigns).
The cost of the domain and maintenance of the site
The cost of maintaining the domain (the www.site name dot something) is annual. Any domain must be registered through a registrar who takes care of registering it in your name and managing privacy and the technical part.
I act as an intermediary for you for this operation (the domain remains absolutely your property and you can do whatever you want with it) and I will support and advise you in the choice of the domain name and I will configure your email.
In addition, I take care of the periodic updates that a website needs (especially if the site is built in WordPress, monitoring if there are problems, the periodic backup and the necessary interventions in the event of a hacker attack.
For all these services my annual rate is 150€.
The cost of building a website
Building a website can be configured in many ways: you may need to build it from scratch, you may already have aa graphic draft or an already published site for which you want to do a restyling.
Usually I do an analysis of the current situation and formulate a personalized estimate that includes the development of the site, a continuous comparison for any changes, basic SEO optimizations.
Usually you have to provide me with the materials (texts and photos), but I can also include the creation of the texts in the estimate, so that they are also optimized in terms of SEO (search engine positioning).
I chose to include the basic SEO optimization in my estimates, because it doesn’t even make sense to publish a site that doesn’t have the ability to position oneself on search engines. If you then want to delve deeper into the topic and do more targeted and effective activities over time, I will formulate a personalized cost for you.
In my estimates I usually also include 2 hours of training if you are interested in learning how to make small changes to the site yourself.
For all these services, the construction of a website usually starts at a cost of €600, increasing depending on the needs.
My hourly rate
There may also be sporadic activities of modifications on the website if you need them, or you may need to contact me only to modify an existing site.
In this case it is probably more convenient to count the time needed to make the changes.
My current hourly rate is €30.
How long does it take to build a website
The times to build the site vary based on the complexity of the work, it can be a week, a month or more. Usually the longest part is finding the material (texts and photos).
We will agree together on the delivery steps of your site, keep in mind that wanting your site “finished by yesterday” is not an approach that I share. And the combination of “fast work and low cost” for me means little professionalism and quality.
Usually I’m very fast, I can say that in 20 years of career in the web I have never been late in delivering a website, on the contrary.
How I work on building a website
Collaboration is essential in building a website, both in making me understand your needs, and in providing me complete material (logo, texts, photos, etc.).
It is also very important to decide the structure that the website will have: which pages it will contain (who we are, services, contacts, etc.). After a preliminary interview I will make you a proposal and we will discuss it together. This phase also helps to outline the estimate you will receive, because the costs of a website also vary depending on the number of pages it will contain..
Usually (but this varies based on the estimate) as soon as I have received all the material from you and we have agreed on the estimate, I start with a draft of the home page (main page) of the site and sometimes of an internal page of the site.
I will show it to you, so that we can reach an agreement on the general graphic layout, the colors and fonts used and if in general I have come close to your idea of ​​what you want to communicate.
In this phase you can ask me for any changes that you want to: change the colors, replace the photos, change the positioning of the elements on the page.
Designing and building a website requires time, I like to dedicate to each project all the attention and time it requires, I don’t like to work in a hurry because it makes you work badly, and if you also respect the deadlines for delivery of the material and are collaborative, you will help me to be as I am: precise and punctual.
All the work on the site and our meetings will take place via email, Skype and telephone. No visits to the company or meetings are planned, they are all activities that can be managed online. The site is an online tool and familiarity with these tools is essential to work.
